Given the adverse weather forecast in our Autonomous Community, the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands has decided to suspend school activities in non-university education, during February 24, as a precautionary measure (https: / /twitter.com/EducacionCan/status/1231602105363894274?s=08).
Following the Rector's instructions and taking into account the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports, all members of the university community are informed that it has been decided to CLOSE ALL ULPGC FACILITIES AND SUSPEND ALL ACTIVITIES AT ALL CENTERS AND SERVICES OF THE ULPGC, ON THE ISLANDS OF GRAN CANARIA, FUERTEVENTURA AND LANZAROTE, DURING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, STARTING AT 00:00, as a precautionary measure to avoid any emergency situation that could occur.
The university community is recommended to follow through the media and on the University website the news that may occur throughout the afternoon/evening of tomorrow, Monday, in case it is necessary to expand or modify this preventive measure.
