October 2020 – International Scientific Meeting on Colostrum

The Institute of Animal Health and Food Safety of the ULPGC, through the Animal Production and Biotechnology Research group, is organizing the First World Congress on Colostrum. Colostrum is the first secretion of the mammary gland of mammals after birth and is of vital importance in the physiology of neonates of all mammalian species. This congress hopes to bring together more than 150 scientists from all over the world at the facilities of the Veterinary School of the ULPGC to show the most recent findings in colostrum research in all mammalian species.
