Social Council approves the rules of progress and permanence in the ULPGC

Article 46.3 of the Organic Law on Universities grants the Social Council the power to approve the rules for progress and permanence of students studying degrees at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), following a report from the Council of Universities .

In this line, the Plenary of the Social Council of the ULPGC meeting in session of November 26, 2012, in view of the report issued by the Council of Universities, approved the Regulations with very specific objectives: to culminate in the University the process of adaptation of all official qualifications to the European Higher Education Area, increase efficiency in the number of university graduates and make students responsible for the use of the resources that society allocates for their training.
