“Practical session. Dairy Cattle Exploitation Audit”

3:00 p.m.- Visit dairy cattle farm in the municipality of Arucas. For Veterinarians and Students Degree in Veterinary Medicine of the last year. LIMITED CAPACITY* 19:00. – Opening ceremony of the IV Conference on Ruminant Medicine of the Canary Islands of the

7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.- Talks from collaborating Laboratories:

  • Zebras, horses and diseases metabolic in cows milkmaids. Javier López Vila, veterinarian of the Seragro SC Fatro Ibérica food service.
  • Importance of Mastitis in small ruminants. Control measures. Lecture given by Hipra's ruminant technical service.
  • Prevention of clostridiosis in small ruminants. Lecture given by the ruminant technician from Boehringer-Ingelheim Spain.

*LIMITED CAPACITY. 10 places will be raffled for the practical session.
